About Benji

Hi, I’m Benji! I’m a 1-year-old white Terrier mix weighing right around 20 pounds. When I first ended up at a crowded shelter, I was completely terrified of the loud, scary environment. Thankfully, I got pulled into a loving foster home, and within just a couple of days of feeling safe, I came right out of my shell and turned into my foster's total little shadow! Now that I’m comfortable, I have so much fun, puppy-like energy! I do great hanging out loose in the house, though I still like to climb over puppy gates and explore like a typical young pup! ‍ When it comes to other dogs, I’m much more comfortable hanging out and playing with smaller dogs my own size rather than big dogs. As for cats, I do try to play with them, though overall I could do just fine in a home with cats! I am all set on my vet care, too! I’m neutered, microchipped, caught up on all my shots, and tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases.
