About Peter

Peter is a handsome, gentle-hearted boy who has overcome a lot in his young life and is now searching for the loving forever home he deserves. As a tiny kitten, Peter and his brother Asher were discovered abandoned in a box at a job site. Thankfully, a caring family took them in and gave them a safe place to grow up. When life circumstances changed two years later, they made the difficult decision to surrender the boys to a rescue they trusted, ensuring they would have the best chance at finding a new family. When Peter first arrived in rescue, the unfamiliar surroundings made him a little shy and cautious. But beneath that reserved exterior is a sweet, affectionate cat who truly enjoys human companionship. A gentle hand offering pets is all it takes for Peter to lean into the love and begin to show his soft, trusting nature. Once he feels comfortable, Peter blossoms into a devoted companion with a calm, loving personality. He gets along well with people, other cats, and dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of households. Peter would thrive in a patient home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and let his wonderful personality shine.
