About Dobie Bear

Meet Bear! Bear’s story started out rough. He and his sister, Shasta, were taken in by Animal Control as strays, emaciated and with every bone showing. Thankfully, those hard days are behind him, and Bear is now safe in his AFH foster home, where he’s getting the love, care, and nourishment he deserves. This handsome boy is very sweet boy and has bounced back beautifully! Bear is playful, loving, and easygoing, with a gentle personality that is beginning to shine more each day. He was a bit shy at first but warmed up to people by the end of his first adoption event. He loved all the attention he got from all the children who came to visit his puppy pen! So far, Bear has been a quiet, laid-back little guy who seems happy to take life one day at a time. Bear has already shown us how resilient he is, and now he’s ready for the next chapter of his story — one filled with love, security, and a family of his very own.
