About Jax

**COURTESY POST** Jax is an adorable 15-month-old, 53-pound Lab mix who’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and both house- and crate-trained. He’s looking for a new home because his owner’s husband has medical needs that make Jax a challenge for her to manage alone.Jax is a calm, quiet companion who loves simply being near his people. He also enjoys meals, naps, and playing fetch. He’s observant and may bark when someone comes to the door.He’s spent time with family, including grandchildren, and has stayed with a dog sitter alongside other dogs on three weekends. Since his experience with other dogs is limited, introductions should be thoughtful. Jax can pull a little on leash when he’s excited to get outside, so he’ll benefit from continued leash practice.Jax receives care through Banfield’s Wellness Program, which is paid through the end of 2026, with the option to renew in January 2027.If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion to share your days with, Jax may be the one for you.
