About Koja

Meet Koja! Koja is a handsome, all-black gentleman with a calm spirit, a loving heart, and plenty of affection to share. This sweet, gentle giant loves attention, cuddles, and spending time with his people. Whether he's curled up in your lap, lounging in a sunny window, or quietly following you from room to room, Koja is happiest when he's near the people he loves. Sadly, Koja is back with Fancy Cats through no fault of his own. After losing his original home due to circumstances beyond his family's control, he was adopted and settling in well. Unfortunately, his adopter developed allergies and could no longer keep him. A friend then welcomed Koja into their home, but their resident cat was not accepting of him, leaving Koja once again in need of a family to call his own. Despite all of these changes, Koja has remained the same loving, resilient boy. He enjoys petting, brushing, treat time, and interactive play with wand toys. He's laid-back and easygoing most of the time, though he does get adorably excited when it's mealtime! His funny personality and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion. Koja has lived successfully with other cats, but he would likely do best as an only pet or with a gentle, playful, easygoing feline friend who appreciates his relaxed demeanor. He also enjoys the company of older children who respect his mellow personality. After experiencing so much upheaval, Koja deserves a stable, loving home where he can finally settle in for good.
