Meet Feta, an adorable Arabian Mau with a heart of gold. Originally from Oman, she was rescued from a parking garage in need of medical assistance. She made an amazing recovery and is looking for a permanent home so she can truly enjoy retirement from the harsh streets and hot climate of the Middle East. Feta is available for adoption (her adoption fee was already paid by a kind-hearted person!) or for permanent foster. In a permanent foster situation, Fancy Cats will pay for all of Feta’s medical and dietary needs. Feta is a very special cat, and she’s had a tough go of it over the past year. Luckily, she’s very resilient and is so deserving of a loving, stable home. She is an adoption center favorite, and we can’t understand why no one has fallen in love with her like we have. Feta is affectionate and playful but she really doesn’t care for other kitties and would do best as an only cat. ** Medical Note: Feta tests positive for FIV, which is a slow-acting viral infection that affects a cat's immune system (no meds required); She is on transdermal medication for hyperthyroidism which is very easy to administer by rubbing it in her ear while she enjoys a tube treat.
