About Pepper

Meet Pepper – A Laid-Back Little Guy with a Curious Heart! Pepper is a handsome tabby boy with a white blaze on his chest, white mittens & a white smudge on his upper lip. He was born in March 2026 and has a sweet, easygoing personality and just the right amount of kitten mischief. He's a little more laid-back than his siblings Pippa and Piper, but don't let his relaxed nature fool you—when it's time to play, Pepper is ready to join the fun! He loves chasing a feather-and-bell toy on a stick, batting around balls, and having playful tussles with his siblings. He is not food-oriented although he lines up for treats with the other cats! Pepper is proving to be a wonderfully adaptable kitten who can handle the hustle and bustle of life with equanimity, although he often prefers to watch from the room’s edges — or better yet, from the sofa. Pepper is neutered and has all his shots. His littler box habits are impeccable. At home, Pepper is accustomed to living around adult cats, as well as his littermates. He was born into a cat colony in Maryland, and had to lured into trusting humans. If someone walks directly towards him, or looms over him, he still gets a little scared. But he can be brave: he was the first of his siblings to purr for his foster family, and allow close play & pets! If you sit down and hold out your hand, he will come for a scratch and some attention. He leans in, or arches his back to make sure you itch just the right spot! He's curious about the world around him and loves watching what happens outside the window — especially the sparrows out front. When he's not birdwatching, you'll probably find him exploring a cardboard box or climbing his cat tree to see everything from a higher vantage point. Pepper would make a wonderful companion for another kitten his age, or perhaps a pair for an older cat. Having a feline friend to play, wrestle, and nap with would be the perfect fit for this social little guy. Pepper also comes into his foster’s bed at night and kneads her back, purring the whole time. If you're looking for a sweet, curious kitten who is playful without being overly rambunctious, Pepper might be your perfect match. He's ready to find a loving home where he can continue growing into the wonderful cat he's meant to be! Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip
